By featuring no-smoking rooms, this not only improves the air quality in the rooms but also minimizes the refurbishment costs and materials as the life of linens, towels, upholstery and curtains is prolonged by not being smoke stained and walls do not have to be painted as often as smoking rooms. This reduces the amount of waste products produced, chemicals, detergents, paints and room deodorizers used and preserves water and energy that would normally be used for the constant cleaning. Not to mention, cuts out the fire hazard that smoking in a bedroom creates.
