Phou Kham Guest House

Phou Kham Guesthouse is approximately a 10-minute drive from the airport or bus station.

Song taews and tuk tuks frequent at the airport and bus stations and will bring you to the Phou Kham Guesthouse for a few dollars per person. Alternatively, if there is no song taews waiting, you can ask another hotel transfer for a lift to your hotel if they have room and pay them approximately the same amount or a little less that you would for the song taew. Ask around and often drivers or hotel staff will approach you.

From the Airport:

Turn left out of the airport onto Route 10, shortly crossing the Nam Ngam River and dam. You can either continue along this road (Number 10 Road) until you reach the cross road with Route 7 with a petrol station on the right corner and turn right onto Route 7, continuing along this road passing Phonsavan Market which is on your left hand side. Continue straight a short distance until you get to the Phonsavan local bus station on your left just before Xieng Khouang Hotel and a large intersection. Phou Kham Guesthouse is on your right.

Alternatively, shortly after the Nam Ngam Market and opposite the tourist information centre, turn right onto Haihin Road continuing past 2 petrol stations and the hospital. At the Lao Development Bank, turn left onto Route 4066 and continue to the end of this street where you reach a large T-intersection and Xieng Khouang Hotel is directly in front of you on Route 7, turn left and Phou Kham Guesthouse is on your left.

From the Provincial Bus Station:

The Provincial Bus Station is located approximately 3km west of Phonsavan on Route 7. Turn right on exiting the bus station and follow Route 7 into the centre of town. Continue along this road passing Phonsavan Market that is on your left hand side. Continue straight a short distance until you get to the Phonsavan local bus station on your left. Phou Kham Guesthouse is on your right. If you reach a large intersection to the right for Route 4066, you have gone slightly too far.
